Southern Extreme

Five day tour of South West England

Day One
Heading West from Central London we travel to ancient Avebury, Europe's largest Neolithic stone circle where you can touch the stones and get your batteries charge on the St Michaels energy line. We continue on through the quaint country roads and into the Cotswolds via the giant white chalk hill carvings of Wessex.
Visit a classic Cotswolds village after which we explore the beautiful City of Bath.
Experience the City's lively streets including the Kings Circus, Royal Crescent, Abbey and assembly rooms and enjoy a first night out in this great city.

Day Two
After Breakfast we take a walk up the impressive Glastonbury Tor for amazing views before exploring King Arthur's legendary birthplace - Tintagel Castle, Cornwall. Try a traditional Cornish pasty in Newquay, Europe's top surfing capital, perhaps even head out on the waves for some optional Surfing or sea fishing or Just sit back, relax and unwind on the beautiful sandy beaches

Day Three
The morning is spent exploring the dramatic coastline down to Lands End stopping first in the picturesque fishing town of St Ives. Wander small cobbled streets, visit working art galleries (including the Tate) and marvel at the amazing rocky bays, crystal blue water and white sandy beaches. See Celtic monuments and hear tales of the Pirates of Penzance before a performance and picnic at the spectacular located cliff top amphitheatre, The Minack.

Finish this amazing day with a drink in the 'First and Last', ancient pirate pub and last on the road to Lands End...eye eye captain.....!

Day Four
From Lands End we make our way to the award winning Eden Project where you can wander through the inspirational global greenhouse for the 21st Century - before heading across enchanted Dartmoor, Hound of the Baskerville country. See the clapper bridge (ancient Celtic bridge) Dartmoor Prison, Hound tour and Jays Grave. Pose for a photo stop with some cute wild ponies before a real Devonshire cider tasting experience! (not for the faint hearted).....and a hearty meal in a scenic canal side pub.

Back to Exeter for a last night out on the town.

Day Five
Enjoy some quality time in Roman Exeter with its awesome Medieval Gothic Cathedral, Roman walls and historic quayside. We challenge you to find the narrowest street in the world!. Our grand finale to this great trip is a visit to the world famous Stonehenge , a 5000 year old masterpiece of ancient technology and craftsmanship. After some quality time at this ancient marvel, we make our way back to London arriving late afternoon.
