Leg 1 London to Scotland
Day One
Heading North from Central London we travel into Robin Hood's country. Check out Nottingham Castle and the oldest pub in England for a refreshing bit of real ale, before we gallop off into the 450 acre Sherwood Forest. Its a dream to explore and with a picnic lunch you will feel like one of the Merry Men before we make our way to Viking York !

A chance to explore the awesome gothic cathedral (England's largest), the Medieval city walls and the sights and sounds of the lively city centre. After our fun viking feast, experience a spine tingling ghost walk followed by a rally of traditional pubs. A great first day we think you will agree!

Day two
Heading further North we take a brief stop in the University city of Durham before a big Angel of the North experience! We cross the River Tyne and into Newcastle, home of football and beer, (and a bit of Sydney Harbour bridge connection). From here we attack Hadrians Wall then take in the spectacular views through the Northumberland National Park. It's goodbye to England and Scotland ahoy. A pause at Jedbergh, a historical border town, once home to Mary Queen of Scots before we get to Edinburgh.

A Full walking tour of Edinburgh by a very scottish walking guide and a bit of whisky tasting awaits. Explore the Royal Mile and Edinburgh castle before we settle down to a bit of Haggis, Neaps and Tats!

The rest of the evening is spent enjoying a fantastic night out in Scotland's capital.

*** You can get off the bus here and reconnect with us the following week allowing you to do a fantastic Scotland tour. If you are in Scotland already and fancy a change of scene. Why not hop on our bus here and who know where you might end up.

Leg 2 – Scotland to Liverpool (with links to and from Ireland)
Day three
Depart from Edinburgh we head back into England. We have time for a quick call into Gretna Green where the Ironmonger performs a shotgun wedding! Once you are married, what better way to spend your honeymoon than a tour around the spectacular Lake District National Park (the largest National Park in Great Britain) and try out some of our great optional activities.

Have a chance to kayak, row or motor cruise the lakes or even Wakeboard!. Visit an amazing water-fall, the highest pub in the Lakes, and the largest lake in the Lakes, Windermere! and in the summer months, the chance for a lakeside BBQ.

Afterwards we travel south for a rocking night in the city of Liverpool . Get some Beatles Mania down at the Cavern Pub.

Leg 3 - Liverpool to London (via Celtic Wales)

Day four

After breakfast we take a trip down to the famous Liverpool Docks, and cross the Mersey River and down into mysterious Celtic Wales.

We continue West to Conwy -a cool castle town on the coast. Experience some real Welsh folk and learn all about the Welsh culture and language before a visit to...... Llanfairpwllgwngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. (the longest place-name in the world) and get your passport stamped and most importantly, get lunch!

After lunch we delve deeper into the stunning Snowdonia National Park - (the second largest National Park in Great Britain) dominated by the highest peak in England and Wales - Mt Snowdon (3560 ft). See the famous Welsh slate mines and go in search of Gellerts Grave where we stop for a nice Ice cream(weather permitting).

We continue Eastwards to Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon. An opportunity to see the Shakespeare houses and if you would like, a play penned by the man himself at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (seasonal performances may vary and are sometimes unavailable, please check with office if you are keen to see a play) or spend an evening in the famous Medieval town.

Day Five
The morning is spent with more time in Shakespeare's home town discovering just how many post cards you can collect.
